Simon Say Stamps Wednesday Challenge/ Use a Stencil/ Altenew

I am so excited to be a part as GD, called Designer Spotlight for this moth.

Today I share you my second post.

Another great challenge start today... and I can use my Altenew stuff I have at home...
I meet Tasnim and her husband on the first Show in Los Angeles on the CHA. It was the first year of Altenew and I can look how fast they grow. She made this with a lot of love and I like it.

Use a Stencil, Altenew

play and win

I combine Altenew with flower, a lot of flowers. I wasn't sure, if I have a stencil. I found two in my stuff, but only one will work for my idea. So I used them. It made so fun, so I made two cards for this challenge. On both cards the stencil is the background.

How I made this card?

At first I made my own A2 (US format) card. I use the stencil from Altenew, called "Grid" Stencil and lay it over the A2 card base. I add Altenew Ink Linestone... to the back, but not on the whole card. So it should be a little white around the edges.  I use my Altenew Metallic Watercolor to sprinkle a little gold to the background (it is hard to see on the picture).
Next I stamped the image on a watercolor friendly paper and color the flowers. I use also my Poychromos from Farber Castel to bring in a few details. After coloring I cut out the plants with the die's and arrange it on the card. If I was satisfied i glue down the image. I use foam tape for the big flower to lift it a little but. I add a sentiment from an other set, called "Classic Beauty" and add a few Altenew Enamels.

How I made this card?

This time I stamped the flower first and mask this, before I made the stencil background. After I made the background I colored the stem and the bud. I color all with my Watercolor from Altenew. and let it try. after than I use also my pencils to made a little details in the flowers. I add a golden accent to the flower and sprinkle color to the card (red, green and golden). I use my white Gelly Pen to made a few dots in the middle to the flower, after than I use a findliner in black and draw the flower (outline and a few details). I think it looks great, so I decided me top add a sentiment.
Now it comes another fun part, I cut the picture in a smaller rectangle and add it to a golden glitter paper from my stuff. I add both to a black paper and all together to my A2 card (red).

Simon Say Stamps Wednesday Challenge/ Fun with Florals/ Paper Roses

I am so excited to be a part as GD, called Designer Spotlight for one moth.

Today I share you my second post.

A new Brand, never heard before, called Paper Roses from Australia.
As I get the themes for this month I saw this brand and I searched about this wonderful stamps. I bought a few, because I fall in love with them. So this time you will see more than one card. Hope you will like they also.

Fun with Florals, Paper Roses

play and win

I made 3 cards for this challenge. I will you show each one and write a little about how I made the cards. The images are super cute and easy to color.

Cozy Winter

I fall in love with this really cute stamp set. So I bought two and send one to a crafty friend. At first I thought I can't use them, because the theme is Fun with Floral. I thought, why not, I can paint the flowers by myself and the idea was born.

How I made this card?
I stamped the image on a card stock, which works with watercolors too.  I used a lightly ink for the no line technique from my stuff. After than I colored the image with Altenew Watercolor. For the wreath I used a circle die to create a better circle as freehand (otherwise it will be an oval, lol). For this technique I need a pencil and an eraser.
After I had a lightly circle I draw with my brush leaves and blossoms to the wreath.
I finished the painting with silver splatter and details from the new Altenew Metallic Watercolor set.
I add a sentiment and cut the paper a little bit smaller than the card, because I want to lift it a little bit. So I use silver glitter paper from my stuff.
I finished the card with a sentiment from the next stamp set :)

Cactus Quotes

I found this set is really amazing. There is only one image, but strong and funny sentiments.

How I made this card?
This time I use watercolor paper. This time I stamped again with an lightly ink for the no line coloring.  I used again Altenew Watercolor and Altenew Metallic Watercolor (this time a little bit gold). After dry I used a with Gelly Roll to bring in some details on the plant and the pot.  I add a sentiment from the same set. I used also the Gelly Roll there.
I found again a rest of paper in my stuff and glue it under the plant. The card front is 4.25x5.5Inch, I add this to an A 2 card.

Ella's Garden

What a wonderful flower set. I bought this, because I love flowers. and this sets have a lot of possibilities. I didn't bought the dies, so I fuzzy cut the image later...

How I made this card?
This time I used also watercolor paper.  I stamped the image with clear ink and eat embossed it with clear powder. This will help that the color stay in the areas I want to have them. I used my Karin Brushmarkers Pro and a waterbrush.  After color and after dry, I fuzzy cut out the images and arrange this on my A2 card base. I used a light green ink for two leaves. and arrange the flower stamp about this. For the tallest one I used foam tape. At last I use the sentiment from the same set and stamped it to a black cardstock and embossed this with white embossing powder. I add the strip of paper on the card and finished the last one.

It wasn't the last time I played with this stamp sets. They are so pretty. I have two more at home (Tulips and Poppies)... Not sure yet with which one I play next time :)

So sorry for the long post today. If you have any questions please let me know in the comments below.

I hope you like my card and thank you for your lovely comment below.
