"when things go stubid again...". Life isn't easy all time.

 It is early fall time and a lot of people use to create Halloween cards or beginn to prepare Christmas cards.

I use this super cute bat candle digital Stamp to made a birthday card. 

I also use products from Create a Smile (CAS) and from Stampin Up (golden ribbon).

CAS Birdhouses Christmas Card

 Today I was playing after work with a Challenge from Create a Smile.

Ok, the MOODBOARD is really a Challenge for me. Hmmm, I saw this colors and fall in love, but with all the other things... I thought about, what can I do? 

I decided to play with this challenge: 

Something with rain or a window or yarn ( two colors green and grey) or recipe...

I looked at my Adventskalender (is only in German) and saw the bird stamp on my table and the idea was come...

I fall in love with this cute birds and why not to use a sentiment from the calendar?

I stamped firstly the houses on wooden paper and cut them out. I cut also the circle in the middle out and add a paper, which I was colored in a brown tone. Than I add a few shadows on the houses and colored the top with a warm grey and the ground with a lighter grey. The lights i colored only white. 

I add cord on the card and use liquid glue. The cord is white and silver. For the green I used the Rosemary from the Hero Arts Set CM155, it is an older stamp set and I couldn't find another name for this set.  I stamped this 4 times with two different green inks and add this to the top of the card over the cord. 

I used two birds from the set. I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Marker and add this on the houses. 

I stamped the sentiment "nun wird es besinnlich" from the calendar on my card in two different colors. This means "now it is getting thoughtful". 

I add white on the birds to for accents. At last I add a few more glitter on the roof and the herbs.

  what for a fun CHALLENGE... cards in no time, every week another idea..

It is already the third week... Hmmm, I was sure, if I have Die Cuts from CAS... So I searched all my stuff. I saw a wonderful Snowflake, but not at my home. 

I was searching and searching... If you have a lot of crafty stuff at home you will find something. I found a card of Yupo paper I worked on with blue, violett tone. I found an idea. Why not to use a sentiment die cut or a snowflake from an other company?

the idea was born...

What do you need for this card?

* a white card base A2 (US format)

* prepared paper from Yupo or alternativ a piece pattern paper, also a glitter or shiny paper for the sentiments/ Snowflake

* paper cutter
* die cut's (I use a snowflake and a sentiment, which means Christmas)

* optional a stamp set or embellishments

How I made this card?

I set the time and beginn to work. I cut the background sentiment at first, so I know how much paper I still have.  I have enough to cut 4 squares (1.5Inch x1.5 Inch). I glue the squares on the card base. 

Now I cut the normal sentiment and glue it on the background / shadow word, then to the bottom on the card. The card looks empty and I use the word zauberhaft (German, means magical) for the other word. I die cut the Snowflake from the same shiny paper and add this on the squares. At last I use some rhinestones for more details. 

What says the timer, after finish the card?

8 minutes and 56 sec.

 what for a fun CHALLENGE... cards in no time, every week another idea..

It is already the second week... and now it is a challenge to bring a 10 min card...

The idea comes from Jennifer McGuire.

first try... no, it needs to much time, because masking, but I want to show it also.

My plan is to show a faster card with sentiments and an image... because I am a cute card maker. It challenged me and it make a lot of fun...

Now I did it, I need 9min and 55 seconds... under 10min.

Here is the second card.

Tip, with the Karin Promakers you can really fast color the image and you can add a pencil for details. I have mask the image for repeat stamping the text, but the masking or repeat stamping must not perfect... looks a little retro.

the last card I made is with a Freebie stamp from Janes Doodle, but I forgot to set the timer, so I didn't know exactly how long I need for this card, but it wasn't so long... 

Here I have to print first the image out. I use Mix Media paper (because Watercoloring). I made a fast coloring and add details like before with a pencil. After I sprinkle black and golden to the background, otherwise the card looks so empty. At last I stamped the sentiment and add a little Gold to the word...

You see, not much time and I have 3 cards... maybe it is a little more than 30 min for all, but I don't need a hour...

Hope you liked my idea's... So let begin the next step for the next week DIE CUT... OMG, I must search, I think I have not enough dies from CAS, but I want play with her products, ok sounds like a Challenge for me...

it is the first week and I play along with Create a Smile, to make a background card in 10 min...

I did it and made this card. 

to stamp the background is really fast and I had time to color an image and make an easy coloring. I cut it out with a circle die and a little bigger one in golden. At last I stamped the sentiment.

I need 9min and 35 sec...

Don't Worry | Keine Sorge

  it is October 31... this means, that in many countries will celebrate HALLOWEEN. I don't celebrate this, some people made a similar celebration on this day for kids, with not so spooky costumes. 

I had decided to use one of the cute costumes to make a card without spooky scene. 
Es ist der 31. Oktober... in vielen Ländern feiert man HALLOWEEN. Ich feiere dies nicht, es gibt auch hier Leute, welche es feiern oder ein Alternativprogramm auswählen, wo Kinder sich verkleiden können, allerdings nicht so gruselig und zu Hause ein Programm aufstellen (Filmabend und Süssigkeiten). Ich habe mich entschieden, eine Karte zu gestalten, welche ein niedliches Kostüm zeigt und einen Hintergrund zu wählen, welcher auch nicht gruselig ist.

I colored the image with my Luminace from CaranD'Ache and fuzzy cut it out. I saw in the internet a card which have the same idea with the trees, but not sure where I saw it... I use a blank A2 card base and decorate the background with my Distress Oxide ink and Brick Patterned Stencil. I create a easy blue sky and a wall. At next I die cut out the trees from the Forest Majesty die set. For the gras I use a piece of alcohol ink patterned paper I made in the past and cut it out with the Grass and Cloud edger die set, also the trees are from the same die set. Here I used distress oxide ink patterned paper I made by myself.  I add a German sentiment from Create a Smile, it called "Don't worry, I am here for the cake". Hope you like this idea. I link the products at the end of the blog. 
Zuerst habe ich den digitalen Stempel ausgemalt und ausgeschnitten. Ich nutze hier meine Luminace Stifte von CaranD'Ache. Im Internet habe ich eine ähnliche Karte gesehen, welche ebenfalls Bäume wie diese dargestellt hatte, aber ich weiss nicht mehr wo ich diese gesehen habe. Ich nutze wie immer das A2 Format (US). Die leere Karte dekoriere ich mit Distress Oxide inks und gestalte einen einfachen Himmel und eine Mauer. Anschliessend schneide ich die Baumstämme aus, dazu benutze ich Stanzen von Whimsy. Ich verlinke die Produkte am Ende des Post's. Für das Gras benutze ich einen Rest selbst gemachten gemusterten Papier, hier mit Alkohol Inks und für das Laub, mache ich ein Papier passend in den Farben des Herbstes. Ich stanze dies mit den Grass and Cloud Edge Stanze aus. Als letztes nutze ich von Create a Smile ein Sentiment, Keine Sorge, ich bin für den Kuchen hier.

#93 Herbst | Fall Challenge BT

Es ist soweit, der Herbst wird in den nächsten Wochen sein volles Potential entfalten. Die Bäume, sind jetzt noch grün, sie werden ihre Blätter in ein Farbspektakel ändern, was wunderschön ist zum zuschauen. Die Tage werden kälter und kürzer, aber ich mag den Herbst. 

Fall time is coming so fast. In the next weeks we can marvel at the nature change. At this time trees are green, but in the future weeks the will be colorful. It will come the Indian Summer. The days will be colder and shorter, but I love this time.

Das ist schon ein älteres Set, was ich gekauft habe, da es sooo niedlich ist, aber bisher noch nie verwendet. Ich denke ich werde dies nochmals nutzen. Die Karten gehen schnell und sehen toll aus. 

This is an older set, which I bought, because I fall in love with all the details. It is sooo super cute. The set was waiting to be use. So this is the first time I use it and I think it will not be the last. Cards are made in no time with this set.

I found the sentiment on this set, it is a German set, called Kleine Sprüche (means small sentiments) and comes from Create a Smile. 

Ich habe mit einem Set drei Karten gewerkelt. Diese sind auch ganz schnell gemacht.

Für diese Karte habe ich wieder einmal einen alten Stempel gesucht. Der Stempel mit den niedlichen Pinguinen ist von Penny Black und heisst "Mimis Christmas".Die sind so niedlich... Nicht wahr...? Ich habe diese Freunde mit Dewent Inktense ausgemalt, den Hintergrund habe ich mit Distress Ink gestaltet und mit einen weissen Gelpen. Das Sentiment ist von dem Stempelset von Create a Smile "Hey Quatschkopf".

Here I uesed an old stamp from Penny Black, called "Mimis Christmas". I like the Penguin dudes :) They are so cute... Isn't it? I colored the friends with Dewent Inktense pencils, the background I used Distress inks and a white Gelpen. The sentiment are from Create a Smile ""Hey Quatschkopf"and means we miss you...

in meiner Abwesenheit

...gestern war ich auf Arbeit. Meine Tochter (11J.) wollte Weihnachtskarten basteln, sie fragte mich, ob sie einen Stempel ausleihen kann. Ich sagte ja, aber bitte reinige ihn gut. Meine Tochter war hocherfreut und machte ihre Karten. Als ich nach Hause kam, stellte ich fest, dass sie diese an meinen Arbeitstisch gebastelt hat. Ihre Karten sind wunderschön geworden :)

Yesterday, I was work (late shift). My daugther (11yr)want to craft christmas cards and she ask me, if she can use my stamps. I said yes, but please darling clean it. My daugther was glad to hear this and made two cards. I am came home late, on my desk was an chaos, but on the top there are two amazing cards :) 

 

 

 

 Sie hatte mehrere Stempel genommen und auch gut gereinigt, aber ...? Wo ist denn nur? Ein Stempel fehlte, ich räumte den Tisch auf, nirgends... Auch das noch, der zweite Magnet zu meinen Misti fehlt... Den klitzekleinen Vogelstempel fand ich auf dem Boden, sehr robust der Kleine, war sicher mit dem Bürostuhl darüber gefahren... Weiter Suchen... hmmm, auf der Suche nach dem Magnet, warum ist denn dieser verschwunden? Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit fand ich diesen in meiner Stanzenaufbewahrung, er hatte es sich gemütlich gemacht auf einer Stanze und lächelte mich an... 

She used diverse stamps and she cleaned it very good, but... Where is the little birdstamp from Lawn Fawn Set Making frosty friends? I missed it, I clean my desk, but I can't fint it... Oh no, I saw, that the second magnet from my Misti is gone too... I found my bird stamp man the floor, I am sure that I rolled with my office chair over them, but the little one is robust :) Where is the magnet? After hours, no it was only a feeling... I found the magnet in my Die Storage, he was sleeping well on a big Die :)

Rezept: Sie benutzte ihre eigenen Farbstifte/ Pencils und Gamsol. Zudem benutzte sie folgende Stempelsets: Lawn Fawn Making frosty friends und MFT Toasty Greetings und Create a Smile Aus dem Hut gezaubert.
