Simply Watercolor Day5

...time is running so fast... My family came back from the camp and my daughter went to an other camp... lot to do and no time for crafting... We were a few days in the mountains, beautiful landscape... want to go back :)

Now I found a little time to end this course from Kristina W.. It is a wonderful practice for my watercolor experience.

Here my cards....

my first one, I try an other style to made a flower wreath... looks like old painting on farmers furniture, you will see it often in Germany and Switzerland... I add a German sentiment it means thanks.

here I try the leaves painting. I used darker color, as it was shown. I search animals for this jungle... I think it can fit. What do you mean?

Now comes two simply watercolors with roses... It made fun to color so easy :) and the effect, grandios ...

Debbie Hughes shows this art with other colors. I love bright colors so I decided me to try this one. I love the result :)

I try an other version with flowers and an instruction from Sandy Allnock... This time the flowers are in the vase... It is a good practice.

So much cards into short time... It was a wonderful course, thanks so much.

Simply Watercolor Day 4 Landscape

Yesterday was the Landscaping Day, my family came back so I did't have enough time to made this post, but I want to show you all my cards.

This was the first card from the day and I follow the tutorial.  This is really easy to do.

The second, is the theme Galaxy. I love the special form, which Kristina W. was showing... I put also a little pink into the background. I am not a fan to write my own sentiments, mostly they looks terrible, so I decided me to stamp a sentiment and use a stamp sent from Create a Smile... Mostly it is cold outside, it is German and means Brrrr, it is cold outside. 

At this time we have summer here and beautiful warm weather.

Next card shows cacti, I love to play with colors and so I use colors like pastels tone for my card.... This time I try again to write the sentiment, hope you can read this :)

This is the last card from the Landscape Day... This was a little challenge for me :) 

...but looks interesting. 
I show the card my husband. He said to me: "Hunny, you have to write the word ACROSS small, it is an adjective. I was amazed, because I used a stamp from MFT. I told him, that I used a stamp and he said really? Yes, I am not sure with writing sentiments and mostly the looks terrible. He said, you need only practice... it's like the painting, you grew so much... " Oh I love this moments. I am pleased to have a husband like him.

Simply Watercolor Day 3 Handlettering

Today is the theme not so easy, because I haven't practice in hand-lettering... 

I let me inspire from the course yesterday, my ideas and look, what I create... 

At first I create this lazy sloth and color him... after than I searched a sentiment who will fit... It is an German sentiment and means... "Actually I had a lot things in mind today, well than I have a lot to plan tomorrow." Ok I hope you will understand it... 

This is my second image I made for this day... It is again a German sentiment and means:

"this is no mess, here are ideas everywhere around."

Simply Watercolor meet crafty friend

Today I meet my friend Frau Voegeli... and what does two crafty friends? We have the same course and so we create new stuff :)

My friend likes to break the rules and to create own stuff... I saw a lot of great ideas and must say wow...  you can visit her Instagram Account here

I was inspired and my mojo came back, also I create a few new character... At first I colored this moose, I don't finished the card now. I am not sure wich sentiment I will use...

...after the moose I colored this raccoon... ok, it can be a cat, too :)  What ever this is for a critter it looks sweet.. At now I don't finish it yet.

..and my last image I made by my friend was this one...

A big bunny with a ladybug... looks friendly. I also don't finish this... Not sure which sentiment fits and where I should write this... Maybe you have an idea, please let my know what you are thinking in the comments below.

Simply Watercolor Day 2 create Critters

Simply Watercolor Day 1 Pattern Backgrounds

Today was the first day from the new course simply watercolor... My husband is with the kids on an camping, so I use the quite time to color... 

Here my first cards from the course...

Paintalong Watercolor Landscapes

I am a member from the free class watercolor Landscapes. A wonderful class for all people, who want try to color this art. I painted my first two projects and I am stunning about what I created with help from Sandy Allnock. Can't wait to find more time for practice :)

A typically farm house from America... I had trouble with the masking liquid on my paper, because if I removed them I damage the paper. After coloring white again it fixed the paper... I don't know why it was happened. Maybe you have a tip for me :)

My second picture was this one.... A wonderful sunrise... I didn't color the clouds so like I want... but I love the result.... I added gold to the shining areas... So it looks like the sun shining to it...

It was a great practice to play with my colors.... and to try techniques :)

Diesmal geht es ums Thema alles ist möglich. Eine Karte, ein Bild oder eine Geschenkbox... aber auch eine Einladung zum Essen, ins Kino, echt... Wie zeigst Du auf Papier, dass Du jemanden magst, welches Motiv wirst Du wählen? Ich bin schon ganz gespannt, auf Deine Inspiration.

This time it goes around the theme anything goes. A card, a picture or a giftbox... but why not a invitation to a restaurant/ in cinema/ etc.... Now I am curious, how will you show your friend your friendship/ love on paper? Which scene will you use?  I am glad to see your inspiration..

Western Highland Terrier

A warm welcome to the blog from Whimsy Stamps, Ute here. Today I will show you a CAS card with the Western Highland Terrier digital stampdesigned by Crissy Armstrong.

How I made this card?

I printed the image on alcohol Marker friendly paper and color the dog. Mostly I pick the colors like my choice... After coloring I use Prisma Pencils to bring more deep into the image, also strokes/ dots with a white gel pen. As I finished the coloring a cut out the image with my scissor. As card base I use an standard A2 card. I use a die cut for embossing the background, also scrap papers and and sentiment who fits perfectly.pop up the Terrier with foam tape and finished the card with embellishment.

Tipps and Tricks

You can use die cuts from every company for embossing with your die cut machine. It makes wonderful effects...

What is the idea behind the card?

This month there are a lot of new stamps. I decided me for follow stamp:

Penguin Camp Fire

and Penguin Fishing

I try this time a background.... My target is that the background fits to my stamp. After than I wasn't sure, how I made the card.

How I made the card?

First I print out my images with my Laserprinter, after than I color with my Copic Markers.
