Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Adopt

here goes to the original post

How many people sell a pet instead to give a cat or a dog a new home? Ok, the small baby fluffy animals are soooo cute... Yes, they are, but they grow fast and not all people have fun with an adult animal and let them go... this is really sad...

So Whimsy Stamps ad an Action with tow stamp sets to inform the people and collect money for a foundation to help animals...

I have two wonderful cats... I didn't sell them... An old lady gave us the kitten, before they moved to the rest home... we didn't know this... only a few month later the old lady wasn't in our village... She had a dog and a few other cats... Where the animals are, I don't know...

I love my cats, they are so cute and intelligent...

Whimsy Stamp have a stamp with cats and one with dogs. In this stamp stets it have a lot of amazing sentiments. You can made so much cards with them :)

Here are my Inspiration:

I colored my cards with my Luminace Pencils and try some backgrounds.

Whimsy Inspiration Slider Cards

Whimsy Stamp has interesting Kinetec System and you can made a lot of Slider cards with them.

I tried to made a few Slider cards... with the new Slider elements from Crissy...
She made a super cute Icebear, Lion, Tiger and a Dog...
I made with all animals a card and want to show it here...

What is your favorite?

At first I made the Polar bear card... I think the bear is laying on the floor, this will perfect for slide from a hill.. Looks like fun...

I used for this an A2 card (US format). For the background sky I use Yupo Paper and my Alcohol Inks... a lot of blue colors... all ink on my fingers too 😂  I think it will be great to made a glitter landscape.. So I cut out the trees from the same paper like the hill.  At last it need a little accent on my card, so I put the polar bear gifts in his hands...

My second cards was the  card with the lion... He is playing with butterflies or moths or maybe he is dreaming... How knows? My husband didn't like the butterflies in the night, because his meaning they live on the day... maybe the are only design elements 😆😂

I use also an A2 card. I distressed my background panel with Distress Oxide Inks and used a grass and tree die for build a Savanna Scene, also a big shining moon...
I found this amazing sentiment in my stuff and  have to smile... I made no mistakes in my card, there are only Design Elements 😂😂😂 This is really perfect...

My third card was the Tiger...  Where live tigers? I think mostly in jungle and so I create a background like this...

I used an A2 card. On Yupo Paper I use different green colors and cut leaves out, also a mountain and a bottom I use this time a lot of colorful butterflies from a confetti die in my stuff.  I add on my tigers face a googeely eye... and finished the card...

My last card is the dog card.... At first I had no idea, what can I made with the dog...

Why not a card on a flying carpet, like Aladin?  I found in my stuff dessert stamps and made this card... I think the dog looks not really happy, maybe he had fear... Whatever...

So now I showed all cards and hope you like it.

#74 Farbkombination - Color Combination

Today starts a new Challenge bei bastel-traum.blogspot.ch

It is a Color Combination Challenge and I made 3 cards...

This is one of the cards... How I made this card?
I saw a few month before a video, how to use the background dies with layering.. So I looked the Video here
So I made a easy background, with a die from Hero Arts. After than I use Altenew Ink (Rose Quartz, Puffy Heart. Purple Wine Cosmic Berry, Bamboo, Olive, Dew Drops and Aqualicious). I use this directly on the paper.  In January 2019 NR from Altenew have a new product, calls 3 d Die Garden Picks. So you can made your flowers only with dies... FANTASTIC... I use a simple and small sentiment from Winnie and Walter.

here a other card I made with a super cute critter from Create a Smile (Sei kein Frosch). I use here a sentiment from my Monthly Hero Kit.

I was so in flow, that I made 3  cards and this is one of the cards. Making with the Lotus Set from Altenew... the sentiment is from the newest set Beautiful Blossoms.

For every Whimsy Stamps Adopt Don’t Shop Cat and/or Dog clear stamp that is sold Whimsy Stamps will donate $1 USD to the *Gulf Coast Humane Society. And by you simply purchasing a fun stamp set or two, you are automatically donating to this worthy cause. While there is no single solution for this complicated issue, if we all do even one small thing it can really add up to make a big difference. Thank you so much for your support!
Here are some ideas how you can help:
  • Spread the word by sharing the Whimsy Stamps Adopt Cats & Dogs Campaign banner on social media, tag friends and use hashtags #adoptdontshop and #whimsystampsadoptdontshop
  • Purchase the Whimsy Stamps Adopt Don’t Shop Dogs and/or the Adopt Don’t Shop Cats clear stamp sets and $1 from every set sold will go directly to the *Gulf Coast Humane Society
  • Volunteer at your local shelter/animal rescue
  • Adopt or foster a pet
  • Find out about your local TNR (trap, neuter, return) program in your area for feral cats
  • Donate items in need at local shelters, food, towels, blankets, toys, cleaning supplies, etc.
  • Whimsy Stamps also loves purebred dogs and recognizes that responsible purebred breeders are NOT the problem. If you are interested in adopting a specific breed please check with breed specific rescues https://www.akc.org/akc-rescue-network/
Puppy mills, backyard breeders, and unawareness are all offenders that keep this issue an on-going struggle. Please educated your friends and family that shopping/buying from these sources only perpetuates the problem.
A sincere THANK YOU from the Whimsy Stamps team, for caring and supporting this effort!

Our shelter does not receive any federal, state, or county funding and no funding from the Humane Society of the United States or ASPCA. We rely solely on donations, grants, bequests and fundraising events to further our mission of caring for the neglected and abandoned pets of Southwest Florida. As a no-kill facility, the pets of the Gulf Coast Humane Society remain in our care until they find their forever home.
Our mission is to provide humane care for surrendered animals by offering refuge, providing medical care, and facilitating an adoptive home. Each year we take in more than 1,000 animals in need of compassionate care.
The work we do to care for these animals is all possible thanks to the support of those of you in the community who care deeply about the welfare of homeless pets. They thank you - and so do we.” www.gulfcoasthumanesociety.org

Wonderful Hero Arts Monthly Kits... Flower Stand

I am so surprised about the Hero Art Monthly Kits... They have a lot of products (stamps, dies, paper, something else)... wonderful price, super fast shipping, only 2-3 days from US to Switzerland (Europe)... also a great custom service...

Ever Month I get a big stamp set and a lot of dies/ sometime there are also a stencil inside. The January Theme is Flower... The kit is sold out now... most kits are popular are sold out very quickly, but on the end of the year we can vote and if this kit get the most votes than you can buy it next year... or you can buy it from somebody bought the kit and didn't like it...

The best is, if you are a subscriber, you don't miss a kit :)

My idea was to made a shadow box, like a flower stand... I stamped the storefront and cut them out, also I cut the storefront without stamping/ window... it is the backside. Than I cut two side panel for the top and two for the bottom and add on both 3 panel between... Hope this makes sense, for understanding, otherwise let me know...

I color all my images with my Luminace Pencils and cut them out... Now I glue them on the rigth place... and my card will be finish asap.

..at last I add a sentiment from Avery Elle "Thank you" on a fine golden strip (die from MFT Balloons) and finished my card.

Hope you like it...

Thanks for stoping by and for your lovely comment :)
