Love for Australia, Platypus

Whimsy artist, Crissy Armstrong, has illustrated an adorable set of animals found in Australia with the purpose of raising money to help the animals suffering in the Australian bush fires.  Whimsy Stamps have put together a digital stamp set of 5 images and some coordinating sentiments.

All proceeds from the sale of this set will benefit WIRES - Emergency Fund for Wildlife. This set is available for a limited time and only through Whimsy Stamps for $10. We hope you will help with this cause.

I made an other card with the Platypus

Wish you all a wonderful Weekend and crafty time. Can't wait to see, what you are creating.

I made also two different card. Hope you like one of this.

How I made this card?

I used an A4 base card (US format). I decided my for 3 Lama's and thought that it will be great, if they are in a line. I stamped first with a waterproof black Ink. After than I distress the image. I want a blue sky and grass or something looks like that.
After than I colored the Lamas with my Karin Brushmarker Pro and with my Altenew Metallic Watercolors.  I cut the picture out and glue it with two pattern paper strip to my card base. At last I add the sentiment. The lower sentiment I heat embossed this.

How I made this card?

I use again an A 2 card base (US format). I use the rest of the paper (from the letter version) to cut out a frame from SSS Flowing Vine Collection. the other side I used this for a distressed background. I use warm colors.
After distressing I add the sentiment and glue the window paper and the background paper together. I little shortness the longer sides and add a pattern paper on each side. Glue all together to the card base. I stamped the lama with Distress Ink and color this lightly. I fuzzy cut it out and use foam tape to glue it on the card. I draw grass under the lama and finished the card.

Hero Arts Monthly Kit January 2020

Wow, just wow... what for a fabulous set this month... I was surprised this month. Wonderful idea...

I saw that this kit was really fast sold out.

full packed with love, great sentiments and dies... also glitter embossing and paper.

I made a card in no time, I used the text message in the middle and cut out the butterfly three times.

I used the ink from the last kit (Reactive Ink palette). A wonderful turquoise, blue and violett. I used water and it is a smooth color. On the background I used embossing powder the glitter pink and an antique version. I also use the Thank you sentiment with the fishtail die... work perfect.

I love this set and think I will use this often.

Altenew Challenge Januar 2020

mostly I haven't time to play challenges like this, but this time I will give a change to create some new for this challenge

Altenew gives a color board for every month. this time are lilac, orange and green...

I search in my stuff for a idea. I think I made a fast card.

Ok my background was a little lighter as on the reference photo color... I used wild honey Oxide ink and spiced marmalade and made with them an ombré background.

I cut out a circle and I stamped basil from the set Garden Grow and color this one with the other colors. I add a lilac circled frame to the card.

At last I used a sentiment from the stamp set Kind Words and add a smile to the pot...

I add glitter to the leaves and finished my card.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for visit my blog and for your lovely comment.

I used for my projects one stamp set from Clearly Besotted. As I bought them all others with Pets were sold out (lol)..., but I love this kit. There are a lot of super cute animals inside. I think a card with a dog and one with a cat will be perfect for this theme.

How I made this card?

In this set is also a scene stamp and I try to made a card with them. Why not a scene on the evening or early night... . I stamped the scene and the dog and colored this with my Copics.

gras: G29, YG17,  YG05
park/ green: YG 23, YG 17 G29, little bit Y19

I also add tiny glitter/ sparkle to the tree, bushes a the light and I used a white Gel Pen to add some details. I cut the dog with my Scissor out and add him with foam tape to the bench. I cut my scene and glue it to the card base (A2 US format). At last I used a white cardstock strip to add the sentiment.
