Whimsy Stamps | Best Friends

How I made this card?

This time I show you the card where the word friend comes from, which I have already shown on another card. It's perfect so you can use everything. 

I chose a slimline card because the elements I use have enough space. 

First I have the thought about which stamp I need to stamp first. In this case, the small succulent outside next to the dragons. I masked the succulent and stamped the dragon. Masked again and then stamped and masked the other two succulents. I lookedf first to make sure the word fit nicely in between. Now I treated the background with Distress Oxide Ink and spread some water splashes, as well as golden splashes. After everything was dry, I removed the masking and colored the images. With a Slimline Die I cut out the scene, in addition I die cut the word friend. In my stamp collection of Whimsy I was still looking for something that fits friend, a small word.This I stamped out, best friend.  Then I pasted the scene onto a white slimline card. With a white pen I have distributed a few accents on the card.  Finished is this card. 

Wie habe ich diese Karte gemacht?

Dieses Mal zeige ich Euch die Karte, wo das Wort Freund herkommt, welches ich bereits auf einer anderen Karte gezeigt habe. Es ist perfekt, damit man alles benutzen kann. 

Ich habe mich für eine Slimline Karte entschieden, da die Elemente, welche ich benutze genügend Platz haben. 

Zuerst habe ich die überlegt, welchen Stempel ich zuerst stempeln muss. In diesem Fall ist des der kleine Succulent aussen neben den Drachen. Diesen habe ich dann maskiert und den Drachen gestempelt. Erneut maskiert und dann die anderen zwei Sukkulenten gestempelt und maskiert. Hier habe ich geschaut, dass das Wort gut dazwischen passt. Nun habe ich den Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Ink behandelt und ein paar Wasserspritzer verteilt, sowie goldene Spritzer. Nachdem alles trocken war, habe ich die Maskierungen entfernt und die Images ausgemalt. Mit einer Slimline Die habe ich die Szene ausgestanzt, zudem habe ich das Wort Freund ausgestanzt. In meiner Stempelsammlung von Whimsy habe ich noch nach etwas, was zu Freund passt gesucht, ein kleines Wort. Dieses habe ich abgestempelt, bester Freund.  Anschliessend habe ich die Szene auf eine weisse Slimline Karte geklebt. Mit einem weissen Stift habe ich noch ein paar Akzente auf der Karte verteilt. Fertig ist diese Karte.

How I made this card?

This card has been a lot of fun to craft, because I find the stamp with the cat really so cute and funny. First I thought about what I want to stamp and took a post it to try out which stamp I need first and how I want to arrange them. With this card, it's important to stamp the stamp that's in the foreground first and then mask it so you can stamp the one in the background. First I stamped here the plants and masked, then the cat in the jar, which I also masked, another strip at the top and one under the pots, then I embossed a background with Distress Oxide Ink and spread a few more splashes of water on it. After this was done, I removed all masking paper and colored. Finally, I decided to add a large lettering on the card. here I have used leftovers from another card, which I will show you yet (word Friend). To make the word appear a little higher, I punched out foam and attached the word to it. Now a small addition, because the word alone I found rather a little boring, but the hey there, fits very well ... it means as much as hello friend. Finally, I made my card a little smaller and glued it to a black A2 card. 

Wie habe ich diese Karte gemacht?

Diese Karte zu werkeln hat sehr viel Spass gemacht, da ich den Stempel mit der Katze echt so herzig und lustig finde. 

Zuerst habe ich mir überlegt, was ich stempeln möchte und habe einen Post it genommen, um auszuprobieren, welchen Stempel brauche ich zuerst und wie möchte ich diese anordnen. 

Bei dieser Karte ist es wichtig, dass man den Stempel zuerst stempelt, der im Vordergrund ist und dann maskiert, damit man den im Hintergrund stempeln kann. Zuerst habe ich hier die Pflanzen gestempelt und maskiert, dann die Katze im Glas, die ich auch maskiert habe, noch einen Streifen am oberen Rand und einen unter den Töpfen, danach habe ich mit Distress Oxide Ink einen Hintergrund embosst und noch ein paar Spritzer Wasser darauf verteilt. Nachdem dies fertig war, habe ich alles Masking Papier entfernt und habe koloriert. Zum Schluss habe ich mich entschieden, noch einen grossen Schriftzug auf die Karte anzubringen. hier habe ich Rester von einer anderen Karte, welche ich Euch noch zeigen werde verbraucht (Wort Friend). Damit das Wort ein wenig höher erscheint, habe ich Schaumstoff ausgestanzt und das Wort darauf befestigt. Nun noch einen kleinen Zusatz, denn das Wort allein fand ich eher ein wenig langweilig, aber das hey there, passt sehr gut... es bedeutet soviel wie hallo Freund. Zum Schluss habe ich meine Karte etwas verkleinert und auf eine schwarze A2 Karte geklebt.
