Magengo Designs | Spooky B-Day

  Hallo ich bin's wieder. Dieses Mal zeige ich Euch wieder eine neue Inspiration.
Hello it's me again. This time I show you again a new inspiration.

Nun möchte ich Euch ein wenig darüber berichten, wie ich diese Karte gebastelt habe. Die Produkte von Magengo Design werde ich am Ende des Beitrages verlinken. Dieses Mal habe ich mich für eine A2 Karte entschieden und male direkt auf die Karte. Die Copics drücken auf der Rückseite ein wenig durch, aber so sieht man, dass es selbst gemacht ist :) Wem das nicht gefällt, kann auch auf einen separaten Papier ausmalen und dies dann auf die Karte kleben. Ich habe zuerst die Fledermaus gestempelt. Danach maskiert und den Ast gestempelt, welchen ich auch maskiert habe, danach einen Kreis (Maskingpaper), der den Mond wieder spiegelt. Nun habe ich am Boden der Karte noch ein wenig wieder entfernbares Klebeband angebracht, um dies weiss zu lassen. Nachdem ich alles fertig vorbereitet habe, habe ich die Distress Oxide Ink genutzt, um den Hintergrund zu gestalten. Mit Wasser habe ich ein paar Spritzer auf die Karte gegeben und mit einem Zellstofftuch abgetupft. Nun noch wenig Distress Oxide Ink in den Mond gewischt. Alles kolorieren, einen gemustertes Papierstreifen und ein  Sentiment aufbringen und fertig ist die Karte. 

Now I would like to tell you a little about how I made this card.  I will link to the Magengo Design products at the end of the post. This time I decided to use an A2 card and paint directly on the card. The Copics press through a little on the back, but so you see that it is handmade :) If you don't like that, you can also color on a separate paper and then glue this on the card. I stamped the bat first. Then masked and stamped the branch, which I also masked, then a circle (masking paper), which reflects the moon . Now I added a little removable tape to the bottom of the card to leave this white. After I finished preparing everything, I used Distress Oxide Ink to create the background. Using water, I added a few splashes to the card and dabbed with a cellulose cloth. Now wiped a little Distress Oxide Ink into the moon. Color everything, add a patterned paper strip and a sentiment and the card is done.

Magendo Designs | It is your day go Bananas!

  Hi, Ute here with an new idea.

What for a wonderful New Release? So much fun stuff to play with. 

This time I used the Bananas Stamp Set, which is really cute, also I use a special card design, which called Grass Zick Zack Card. Here I made a little scene with the monkeys.

I use Distress Inks and Alcohol Marker. 

I can't wait to see what you do :)

Magengo Design, Ahoy, let's have some fun

Hello, wish you a wonderful Friday! I want to show you my second card with the wonderful pirate stamp set. 

 

This time I decided me to use the pirate ship as focus. You can print it taller, if you like it, but I used the stamp set, which called "ready for print page.jpg". There are all images from this set. 

...and this is my card. 

...and here you can see the inside card... I also use items for a detail pirate card. 

How I made this card?

At first I print out the stamp and color all with my Copic's. 

ship: E47, E44, E33, 

pirate sail: C5, C3, C1

other sails: B34, B32, B000

golden tone: Y38, Y15, Y11

pull eye: Glossy Accent

I distressed my card base with 3 different Distress Oxide Inks. I used an additional card stock in the same size, like the card and tear it in a wavy form to made the water optic. I draw some white dots for stars and add a little glue to the wave and the sky, to bring in golden paper/ flakes.  I think pirate theme have to need a golden detail... I used on this card two sentiments. 

The inside I use again a strip paper from my trash and distressed this, only with two colors. I glue it into the card and add some detail stamps from the set. I draw a line to the cross and finished it.

Magengo Design Pirate

Happy Friday Friends! Today I will show you one card I made with the very cute pirate stamp set. I love this, because there are so amazing critters and details on the set. 

I fall in love with this stamp set, as I see it at first. OMG so wonderful critters, items, palms, a pirate boot and so on. I have a lot of picture in my head to play with this great set. 

I thought it will cool to print out the whole set, to made a few cards, but I will definitely use this stamps set again, maybe to use the palms taller or ...

At this time I made two cards. One I will show you today and the other later in the month. 

This is the one I will show you today: 

How I made this card?

If you make an order, you get jpg, png and svg files. you will find in the jpg and png files a picture with the whole stamp set. I used this to print out on alcohol friendly paper. 

Than I used my Copics to color them out. I used also a white Posca for bring in details. 

Than I cut all out with my Scan and Cut, you can also use the svg files for this. 

For my card I used Distress Oxide Inks. I use two different blues and put it on a plastic sheet/ laminated. I used my finger to smudge this a little bit and spray water on this. I use a white background to put it on the wet sheet and take this away for the water effect in the back. 

Than I used also white paper to made the beach. I tear of the paper a little wavy form. Than I used again Distress Oxide Ink to bring a beachy color on this paper. I use my water bottle to bring in a little structure and use a darker one for made a more sandy feeling.

Now I arrange the critters and the background on my card to made a treasure hunt perfect. 

At last I decided me for a golden and black detail on the card and finished it.

Love for Australia, Platypus

Whimsy artist, Crissy Armstrong, has illustrated an adorable set of animals found in Australia with the purpose of raising money to help the animals suffering in the Australian bush fires.  Whimsy Stamps have put together a digital stamp set of 5 images and some coordinating sentiments.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, With our Pets/ Clearly Besotted

I am so excited to be a part as GD, called Designer Spotlight for this moth. 

Today I share you my second post.

Pets are most wonderful animals... They are lovely and help us. So bad that some people have allergy and can't have them. I have two cats and in our family there are a few dogs...

I used for my projects one stamp set from Clearly Besotted. As I bought them all others with Pets were sold out (lol)..., but I love this kit. There are a lot of super cute animals inside. I think a card with a dog and one with a cat will be perfect for this theme.

How I made this card?

In this set is also a scene stamp and I try to made a card with them. Why not a scene on the evening or early night... . I stamped the scene and the dog and colored this with my Copics.

Color combination:

dog: E39, E35, E42, a little bit yellow Y19

city/ town: C2,C4

light/ lamp: W5, W7, W9, yellow Y15, Y19 

bench:  E34, E27, little bit Y19

gras: G29, YG17,  YG05

park/ green: YG 23, YG 17 G29, little bit Y19

cheeks: chalk pink

I also add tiny glitter/ sparkle to the tree, bushes a the light and I used a white Gel Pen to add some details. I cut the dog with my Scissor out and add him with foam tape to the bench. I cut my scene and glue it to the card base (A2 US format). At last I used a white cardstock strip to add the sentiment.

I used the cat from the set... with other stamps...

How I made this card?

I stamped the cat and colored this little cutie. After than I fuzzy cut it out with my scissor. Than I use a background stamp, a gift stamp and sentiment from my stuff. I distressed the background with my Oxide Ink. Die cut a circle and put my card together.
