How I made this card?

The letters of the Quirky ABC are quite large, perfect for a word card. If you combine them with an animal, it becomes a cute card. This is what I did today. How this is very simple, I explain to you now.

First you think about what word you need for 4 letters is enough A2 card, should you need a longer word, you can also craft a slimline card.

I have chosen the theme of love, since Valentine's Day is soon. My basic card is white A2 (US format). To have a little more contrast, I thought it makes sense if you repeat the same color from ABC. On top of it a white color and then the background. This I have embossed, and underlaid with gold glitter tape. The word sits on a grass cut out of white cardstock. The O I have replaced here with a bunny. I thought it was funny and you can still read it. I kept the letters in shades of pink and purple, kind of an ombré effect.So that the bay letters do not look quite so flat, I also I punched out foam, which is quite easy with the accessories (ABC die). Now still stick on and with a few flowers from the glitter tape I rounded up the whole card.

Wie habe ich diese Karte gemacht?

Die Buchstaben von dem Quirky ABC sind recht gross, perfekt für eine Wort Karte. Wenn man diese mit einem Tier kombiniert, wird es eine niedliche Karte. Dies habe ich heute gemacht. Wie das ganz einfach geht, erkläre ich Euch jetzt.

Zuerst macht man sich Gedanken, welches Wort man braucht für 4 Buchstaben reicht eine A2 Karte, sollte man ein längeres Wort brauchen, kann man auch eine slimline Karte werkeln.

Ich habe mich für das Thema Liebe entschieden, da ja bald Valentinstag ist. Meine Basis Karte ist weiss A2 (US Format). Um ein wenig mehr Kontrast zu haben, habe ich gedacht, dass es sinnvoll ist, wenn man die selbe Farbe vom ABC wiederholt. Darauf eine weisse Farbe und dann der Hintergrund. Diesen habe ich embosst, und mit goldenen Glitzer Tape unterlegt. Das Wort sitzt auf einem aus weissen Cardstock ausgeschnittenen Gras. Das O habe ich hier mit einem Hasen ersetzt. Ich fand es witzig und man kann es immer noch lesen. Die Buchstaben habe ich in rosa-violetten Tönen gehalten, eine Art Ombré Effekt. Damit die Buchtstabe nicht ganz so flach wirken, habe ich auch ich Schaumstoff ausgestanzt, was ganz einfach ist mit dem Zubehör (ABC Stanze). Nun noch aufkleben und mit ein paar Blumen aus dem Glitzer Tape habe ich die ganze Karte aufgerundet.
