MFT Summer School Monochromatic

the theme today is:

Laurie Willison shows in her video, how she made a monochromatic card with Dies. I love her color choice. I love to play with stamps, so my idea is to made a card with stamps and the same color choice, maybe an Ombrè effect...

I used the stamp set "Witch Way Is the candy?" and Distress Oxide Ink. 

How I made my card?

I cut my paper in 11x4 Inch and fold it by 5.5 Inch. After prepare my paper I use two Distress Oxide Ink (black Scoot, iced spruced and distressed one edge, to made an effect. I put a little Shabby White Embossing Enamel on the ground and heat embossed it. Now my background is finish. 

I stamped three times the batty on my paper and colored one with the same inks, the other two I colored with §ZIG Clean Color Brushes (a little lighter color) and fuzzy cut the images. I use a black paper from my stuff and stamp the sentiment with Vermark and use white embossing powder. 

I arrange the images on the card with foam tape and at last I use my white Gel Pen for the effect around the sentiment.
