Whimsy Inspiration Post Pixie

a new week a new inspiration

This time I use Pixie and a great tutorial from Claudia

Ok, I have a MAC.. so it is a little different, but I try the steps like Claudia told. 

This is my result and I must say it looks great.

LLLC Molli with Umbrella

I want to show you my first card from the Spring Box from La La Land Crafts.

I use the Molli with Umbrella, the background stamp Your Kindness and a Pocket full Stamp set. 

I stamped the girl on white card stock (alcohol marker friendly). 

I used the background stamp also on white card stock and stamped Molli on this too, so that I have the dress in the same pattern. 

I colored Marci with Copics and used my Pencils for details. I fuzzy cut the dress and the jacket and add this on Molli. After I was finish with coloring I fuzzy cut out the character and searched paper in my stuff, which will fit ( I will add the products at the end. 

In the inside of the card I add the pocket, this will be hold a gift card and the flowers from the background set. It looks so realistic, the jeans pattern. So cool. Love it.

LLLC Farm Marci

What happened? I saw super cute animals and found La La Land Crafts (LLLC)... 

I fall in love with the products and the cuteness.  So I ordered my first items. 

I begin to color a few character. 

The quality of the products are really good.

Here I use a Die from the March Club Kit 2020... 

At first I cut out all details on white paper. Than I colored the barn with my Distress Ink, add a black background and fuzzy cut with my scissor the rest. This is really easy to do. 

I think the result is also great. 

Here is Marci from the same kit like the barn. I decided to color a black Marci, why not and planed to add the barn on the card too, but I think it will be overload the card. So I made a cloudy sky and add a piece of paper as a green field behind Marci. 

I have also monthly kits from Hero Arts, so I found an older one, from March 2017 and used from them the fence die and the field die, also the salat. 

I think it fits perfectly.

It make so much fun to play with the Monthly Kit :)

Magengo Design, Ahoy, let's have some fun

Hello, wish you a wonderful Friday! I want to show you my second card with the wonderful pirate stamp set. 

 

This time I decided me to use the pirate ship as focus. You can print it taller, if you like it, but I used the stamp set, which called "ready for print page.jpg". There are all images from this set. 

...and this is my card. 

...and here you can see the inside card... I also use items for a detail pirate card. 

How I made this card?

At first I print out the stamp and color all with my Copic's. 

ship: E47, E44, E33, 

pirate sail: C5, C3, C1

other sails: B34, B32, B000

golden tone: Y38, Y15, Y11

pull eye: Glossy Accent

I distressed my card base with 3 different Distress Oxide Inks. I used an additional card stock in the same size, like the card and tear it in a wavy form to made the water optic. I draw some white dots for stars and add a little glue to the wave and the sky, to bring in golden paper/ flakes.  I think pirate theme have to need a golden detail... I used on this card two sentiments. 

The inside I use again a strip paper from my trash and distressed this, only with two colors. I glue it into the card and add some detail stamps from the set. I draw a line to the cross and finished it.

Whimsy Stamp Inspiration Imogen in Mason Jar

a new week a new inspiration

This time I use the super cute stamp "Imogen in Mason Jar"

I print out the image and cut the card stock in A2 format. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Premier pencils.

#90 Summer/ Sommer

Heute startet die neue Challenge bei bastel-traum.blogspot.ch

Today starts a new Challenge by bastel-traum.blogspot.ch

Dieses Mal geht es rund um den SOMMER. Ich benutze diesen tollen Stempel von Mama Elephants "Marine Friends". Ich habe alle Tiere gestempelt und ausgemalt, danach ausgeschnitten und davon zwei Karten gemacht. 

This time we have a new challenge with the theme SUMMER.  I used the cute stamp set from Mama Elephant "Marine Friends" and made two cards.

 Today is Friday the 13. and for some people a bad omen/bode, but why?

If it the number or the combination number and day or something else? I don't know. 

I hope you will have a fantastic day.

I will show you a card from follow stamp set, called Pick a Boo.

This s a wonderful set with a lot of critters and details. I also love the sentiments. 

This is my inspiration a CAS card. Here you can see the front and the other picture shows the inside of the card. 

How I made the card?

At first I print out the whole set and colored it with my Copics. After than I cut it out.  I try a few combinations and after this I decided me to use a treat for this card. So I draw a light circle line on my card. I used the circle from my dopple side glue tape, but you can all use, what is round and have a similar size. I am not sure if you know it, but I love the Hybrid Dual Metallic Pens. This are pens, which color different on white paper or black paper, for example the purple is purple on white background, but blue on black. If you haven't this pens at home, no matter, you can also use another pen, that you prefer. I draw the leaves and add a few details. I add the sentiment and used my scissor to made a fishtail end on both sides. The banner is in the same white, so I distress it a little bit, so it is darker now. At last I decorate the inside card.

Whimsy Stamp Inspiration Betty and Bob

a new week a new inspiration

This time I use the super cute stamp Betty and Bob...

I also use a sentiment from Whimsy Stamp Kindness of Contagious.

I print out the cute stamp with this two wonderful friends. I colored it with my pencils.

Magengo Design Pirate

Happy Friday Friends! Today I will show you one card I made with the very cute pirate stamp set. I love this, because there are so amazing critters and details on the set. 

I fall in love with this stamp set, as I see it at first. OMG so wonderful critters, items, palms, a pirate boot and so on. I have a lot of picture in my head to play with this great set. 

I thought it will cool to print out the whole set, to made a few cards, but I will definitely use this stamps set again, maybe to use the palms taller or ...

At this time I made two cards. One I will show you today and the other later in the month.

How I made this card?

If you make an order, you get jpg, png and svg files. you will find in the jpg and png files a picture with the whole stamp set. I used this to print out on alcohol friendly paper. 

Than I used my Copics to color them out. I used also a white Posca for bring in details. 

Than I cut all out with my Scan and Cut, you can also use the svg files for this. 

For my card I used Distress Oxide Inks. I use two different blues and put it on a plastic sheet/ laminated. I used my finger to smudge this a little bit and spray water on this. I use a white background to put it on the wet sheet and take this away for the water effect in the back. 

Than I used also white paper to made the beach. I tear of the paper a little wavy form. Than I used again Distress Oxide Ink to bring a beachy color on this paper. I use my water bottle to bring in a little structure and use a darker one for made a more sandy feeling.

Now I arrange the critters and the background on my card to made a treasure hunt perfect. 

At last I decided me for a golden and black detail on the card and finished it.

How I made this card?

I arrange the dragons on my paper. That they fit perfectly and print it out. After  I color them with my Prisma color pencils. I cut the paper a little smaller and add a golden and black border. 

I love the cute two dragon a lot...
