Magengo | Happy Winter

  Hi, Ute here.... What for a special winter this year? 

We have no change to meet all the family, friends like all the years before. CORONA is still here and we have to step down this year, hope that next year will be normal, like before. 

Next week is the end of the special year... I wish, that we get a better 2021. 

A new card. a new inspiration ;)

I decided me this time to use an older stamp set from Magengo. I have more than one idea in my head, but this time I decided me to color on kraft paper with my Luminance Pencils. 

I used follow products:

I also need tie for coloring (Luminance Colors, from Caran D'Ache). I used a ribbon from my stuff. also a paper piece from my stuff. The sentiment is from Stampin UP and means "When things don't go that way, sprinkle Glitter on it".

How I made this card?

I use Pages on my PC and arrange the images near together. I print this scene on kraft stock. After printing I cut the card in A2 format (US format) and beginn with color. I colored the penguin first and thought it will be nicer, if the eyes are open, also I draw another border for the black body. After I finished the penguin, I color the snowman. Here I decided also to change the face a little bit, as the original. After coloring I add a snowy border, under this I add a paper trip from my stuff and a ribbon. I cut out a snow flake from the second set on foam. I hot embossed the snow flake and add this n the border. I add the sentiment., also details with my white gel pen and Glossy Accent and finished the card.

Whimsy Stamps | Sarah

  It is a new week for inspiration...  This time I use a digital image from Sylvia Zet, called Sarah.  

Eine neue Woche, eine neue Inspiration... Diesmal benutze ich einen digitalen Stempel von Sylvia Zet. Dieser nennt sich Sarah.

After printing the funny stamp I color them with a few Alcohol Marker from my stuff. I randomly use the colors from different companies, like Copic or Spectrum Noir. I add a few details with an pencil in my image. After coloring I fuzzy cut the image. I use this time another format 6x6Inch card. I made the background by myself with a snow flake stamp set from Stampin UP (SU) and Distress Oxide Inks. After than I made a scene with a snow bank and trees. I add all to the card and at last I used a sentiment from SU. 

Nachdem ich den Stempel ausgedruckt habe, habe ich diesem mit meinen Alkohol Markern ausgemalt. Ich benutze mehrere Firmen, wie Copics oder Spectrum Noir. Auf fast allen meinen Colorationen nehme ich einen Schattenstift, um noch ein paar Details zur Geltung zu bringen. Nachdem ich damit fertig war, habe ich das Bild ausgeschnitten. Ich benutze hier eine 15x15cm Karte. Den Hintergrund habe ich selbst gemacht, mit einem Schneeflocken Stempel von Stampin UP und verschiedenen Distress Oxide Inks. Ich habe mich auch diesmal für eine Szene entschieden, also habe ich aus weissen Papier einen Boden ausgestanzt, sowie zwei Bäume. Diese habe ich mit einen Glitzerstift angemalt. 

Als letztes habe ich noch ein Sentiment gewählt von SU.

Whimsy Stamps | Dragon Delivery

 It is a new week for inspiration...  This time I use  the really cool stamp from Dustin... I love all the Dragons, so you have seen a lot this year from me :)

Eine neue Woche, eine neue Inspiration... Diesmal benutze ich einen coolen Drachen Stempel von Dustin. Ich mage diese besonders, sind sie doch oft so niedlich und detailliert. Dieses Jahr habe ich einige gezeigt :)

I decided me for a scene... so the the car didn't stand, also drive really fast... After finish I add a few details with my pencils on the card. I use an A2 card base, red one. and glue the scene on the top. At last I add a Winter stamp from Stampin Up., also a few details, like glitter and glossy accent. 

Nachdem ich den Stempel ausgedruckt habe, habe ich diesem mit meinen Alkohol Markern ausgemalt. Ich benutze mehrere Firmen, wie Copics oder Spectrum Noir. Ich habe mich für eine Szene entschieden, wo das Auto nicht steht, sondern ein wenig schneller fährt... 

Nachdem ich fertig koloriert habe, habe ich einen Stift genommen und noch ein wenig Details eingearbeitet, wie Schatten... Ich habe die Szene zurecht geschnitten und auf eine rote Karte geklebt. Als letztes habe ich noch ein wenig Glitzer und das Sentiment angebracht.

 Hi, ... and I come with a new inspiration for you.

Do you know the Christmas story? 

I grew up as a Christian. Every Christmas we remember to the brith of Jesus. They pink text is a text from the Bible, it tells the story of Jesus birth. I used a King James Version, maybe an older one. I have no idea which translation is easier to understand in English. 

"... and it came to pass in thoose days, that there went out of decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the worl should be taxed. This taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria. And all went be taxed, every into his own city, Josef also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, witch called Bethlehem. To be taxed with Mary his epoused wife, being great with a child.And so it was, that, while they where there, the days were accomplished that be should be delivered.  She brought forth her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

and there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. The angle of the Lord came upon them and the glory of the Lord shone around them and the shepherds were very afraid.The angle said unto them, fear no, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be all to the people. I was inspired the the story, as I made this card... I think, that all saw the star in the east and all they which are follow found Jesus wrap in swaddling clothes and was lying in a manger.

time for coloring. I used Alcohol Marker. The Sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "blessed".

How I made this card?

I add the fox and the hedgehog closely together on the left side from my card. I wasn't sure, which background I will color, thought on a star... I am a student from Sandy Allnock, let me inspire and learn a lot. So I found the raising star and thought it will be fit perfectly to the story and I try it with my Spectrum Noir Marker. I add shadow to the critters and finished the card with a little glitter to the star. I found a sentiment from my stuff and I use it with white embossing powder on the dessert bottom.

I bought a few Chocolate to send it to friends and family. This time I thought it will be great, if I wrap up the gift. Today I use a stamp for decorate it. 

Ich kaufte ein paar Schokoladen, weil ich diese gerne an Freunde und Familie schicken wollte. Ich dachte es ist sicher viel schöner, wenn ich diese ein wenig einpacke und mit einem Stempel dekoriere.

  Hi,... It is Saturday and not far about Christmas. 

It is time for a new inspiration for you.

This time I will show you a winter scene.

How I make this card?

At first I arrange the critters nearly on the bottom from my card base. I use Alcohol friendly paper. For my coloring I followed a tutorial from Sandy Allnock. So this card is a practice... Ok, I am know it is not perfect, but looks like a scene.

CAS Birdhouses Christmas Card

 Today I was playing after work with a Challenge from Create a Smile.

Ok, the MOODBOARD is really a Challenge for me. Hmmm, I saw this colors and fall in love, but with all the other things... I thought about, what can I do? 

I decided to play with this challenge: 

Something with rain or a window or yarn ( two colors green and grey) or recipe...

I looked at my Adventskalender (is only in German) and saw the bird stamp on my table and the idea was come...

I fall in love with this cute birds and why not to use a sentiment from the calendar?

I stamped firstly the houses on wooden paper and cut them out. I cut also the circle in the middle out and add a paper, which I was colored in a brown tone. Than I add a few shadows on the houses and colored the top with a warm grey and the ground with a lighter grey. The lights i colored only white. 

I add cord on the card and use liquid glue. The cord is white and silver. For the green I used the Rosemary from the Hero Arts Set CM155, it is an older stamp set and I couldn't find another name for this set.  I stamped this 4 times with two different green inks and add this to the top of the card over the cord. 

I used two birds from the set. I colored them with my Spectrum Noir Tri Blend Marker and add this on the houses. 

I stamped the sentiment "nun wird es besinnlich" from the calendar on my card in two different colors. This means "now it is getting thoughtful". 

I add white on the birds to for accents. At last I add a few more glitter on the roof and the herbs.

Whimsy Stamps Inspiration | Penguins decorate the tree

 It is a new week for inspiration...  Chrissy drawn a wonderful image, call Penguin Decorate the Christmas Tree.  This is a fun image... 

Eine neue Woche, eine neue Inspiration... Chrissy hat einen wunderschönen Bild gemalt. Drei kleine Pinguine dekorieren den Weihnachtsbaum...Wirklich ein lustiger Stempel.

Wie habe ich diese Karte gemacht?

I print the little guys on alcohol friendly paper and color them with my Triblend Makers. After colroing I add details with a pencil. I cut the image out with my Scan and Cut Machine, with a small white border. I use an A2 card base and sprinkle black and golden spaltter on it. I add the image with foam tape on the base. After than I add the sentiment (it is German and means, Happy Holiday wishes).

Now I add Glossy Accent to the Christmas balls and add glitter to it, I also add Glossy Accent top the candy cone.

Ich drucke mir zuerst das Bild aus und male es dann aus. Diesmal benutze ich meine Triblend Marker von Spectrum Noir. Anschliessend benutze ich meine Buntstifte für Details auf dem Bild. Ich gebe das Bild in die Scan und Cut Maschine und schneide es aus. Dabei lasse ich einen kleinen weissen Rand. Nun die Basis Karte...Es ist eine A2 ( US Format ) Karte. Diese bespritze ich mit Schwarz und Gold und habe so einen ganz edlen Hintergrund. Nach dem Trocknen klebe ich das Bild mit Abstandsklebern (Foam) auf die Kartenbasis auf. Nun stempele ich noch das Sentiment. Zum Schluss füge ich noch Glossy Accents auf meinem Bild zu (Christbaum Kugeln und Candy Cone). Auf die Kugeln gebe ich noch ein wenig Glitzer und wieder st eine Karte fertig.

Magengo Snowflake Background Slimline Card

  Hi, today I want you show a quick card.

You need follow product for this card:

1. Snowflake Backgrounds
2. Glitter Paper, I use Pixie Dust from Lawn Fawn
3. white card stock size 8.5x7Inch, score at 3.5Inch
4. a Plotter, I use my Scan and Cut
5. Distress Ink and Blender brushes or Blending tool
6. Water or Water color is optional for give the background details, also a heat tool
7. glue 
8. use a sentiment form you choice, I use Stampin UP "Schneeflockenwünsche" 
(means Snowflake wishes)

How I make this card?

At first I load my SVG file to my work space on the PC and send it to my Brother machine. Then I add the glitter paper to the mat and feed the machine. I search the file and follow the instruction to cut the image. I cut both images the slimline and the other. So my machine needs 9 min to cut all. After cutting I take carefully the snowflake cuttings from the mat and save this for later. 

I use the paper and score it at 3.5Inch and use my bone folder for a better folding. After this I distress the paper with only 2 Distress INK Oxide- I used Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch and distress the background. As next I use a water spray and going over the card. For the golden sprinkles on my card I use an old box (from my mail) and put the card into the box, then I use the watercolor GOLD. 
After this I use again my heat tool for dry. 

I use the precut Snowflake Background and glue it to the card. 

I stamped my image to a white card stock and use a fishtail die from my stuff to cut it out. I add the image with foam tape to the card and finished it.

It is December and Christmas stand before the door.  The last Christmas cards and presents... we have a little time to craft, to buy and to pack all. 

Es ist schon Dezember und weihnachten steht vor der Türe. Die letzten Weihnachtskarten, Geschenke und wir haben noch Zeit zum Basteln, Kaufen und Einpacken.

I made this time a slimline card.  This time I use a super digital stamp set with different penguins and accessories, so you can put it together and you can make cards for every season. You have so much possibilities. The penguins comes from Kristy, some people know she. She is the owner from Some Odd Girls and make really great stamps, also have fun ideas. She decided to close her store, but she will be a part from Whimsy Stamps. I can't wait to see more from this wonderful stamps.

The sentiment is German and means "Today is pamper you day"... I am not sure if this the best translation...

Ich habe diesmal eine Slimline Karte gebastelt und zeige die niedlichen Pinguine von Kristy. Viele kennen sie von Some Odd Girl. Neu wirst Du die Stempel bei Whimsy Stamps sehen. Kristy benötigt mehr Zeit für Familie und wird auch weiterhin neue Stempel zeichnen/ entwerfen. Du hast aber auch noch Zeit ein paar Schätze zu kaufen oder zu verschenken. Ich freue mich,  bleibt Kristy in der Branche und ich kann es kaum erwarten, was sie neues werkelt.
